A Dharma Talk with Tom Adducci
In this talk, Tom will explore the concept of meditation and the inseparability of the spiritual and secular within one’s practice. He will also discuss how this relates to the Shambhala vision of creating enlightened society.
Tom Adducci has been a student and practitioner of Buddhism for over 30years. He studied with his primary teacher, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the founder of Shambhala, from 1974 until Trungpa’s death in 1987. Tom is a founding member of the Shambhala Meditation Center of Minneapolis, which is one of over 170 Shambhala centers and groups worldwide. He has served there in many capacities, including most recently as director of practice and teaching. Tom is a trained meditation instructor and has been teaching in the Shambhala tradition for over 20 years.
