12-Step Recovery and Mindfulness Meditation Retreat, Craig V. (Common Ground Event)

This retreat is an opportunity for 12-step people to come together and experience a half day of quiet meditation. It is often said our program is one of self-discovery. These four hours, without distractions, provide a unique opportunity for self-discovery and to deepen your understanding of our program and, especially, to deepen your practice of the 11th Step. We will have periods of sitting meditation, walking meditation, group discussion, a short talk, a mid-day break for tea and walking outdoors, weather permitting. The environment will be informal, the instructions simple, and we especially welcome those of you who have had little or no meditation experience.
