The Buddha often used the term “refuge” when describing his teachings, and meditators often refer to their practice in this way. In this talk, Ajahn Chandako will explore what it means to take refuge in one’s meditation practice while avoiding the tendency to make meditation into a hiding place or escape.
Ajahn Chandako is a senior monk in the Thai Forest tradition of Ajahn Chah. Originally from the Twin Cities, Ajahn Chandako received his B.A from Carleton College, majoring in Religion. He currently serves as abbot at Vimutti Forest Monestary in New Zealand.
