All Sangha Meeting and Board Member Election
| Join your friends and sangha members for the NBMC Annual Meeting. We will discuss plans for our move across the hall with the Quakers in late August and select two new Board Members to serve. Barbara Burke and Fred Howe have completed their terms. Bruce Hanson will be staying on. Machelle Kendrick has been nominated to serve on the Board. Please consider adding your name to the list.
Our new relationship with the Quakers promises to be an exciting opportunity for synergy between our two groups. Sharing the cost of rent (our largest monthly expense) will allow us to be free from the financial worries that have plagued us over the last few years and will us to focus on what’s most important: supporting each others’ practice and deepening our understanding of what the Buddha taught. |
